Welcome to the website of the Permanent Mission of the People's Republic of China to the United Nations Office at Geneva and Other International Organizations in Switzerland.

Home to the largest office of the United Nations outside its New York headquarters, a large number of UN Specialized Agencies and other international organizations, Geneva is an important stage for international negotiations and rule-making in such fields as disarmament and security, trade and development, and human rights and humanitarian affairs. It is also an important platform for the international community to tackle together various global challenges.

Over the decades, China has been committed to developing good relations with Geneva-based UN agencies and other international organizations. Working on a host of international issues in an in-depth manner, China has made positive contributions to maintaining world peace, promoting common development, and facilitating international cooperation.

I hope this website could increase your knowledge of China and its foreign policy, especially our policies and practices in the fields of arms control and disarmament, human rights, humanitarian issues, public health, intellectual property, labor, post and telecommunications, and environmental protection.

We appreciate your interest in China and welcome your suggestions and advice.
