On the afternoon of Mar. 12th, Nuer Baikeli, deputy secretary of CPC XJ committee, chairman of XJ Uygur Autonomous Region is invited to Top Talk of CCTV to talk about XJ's economic and social development.

Nuer Baikeli said that, XJ is an area inhabited with multi-nationalities. Vast in land, it has good development potential. Since the reform and opening-up, XJ has changed a lot under the leadership of Central Government and State Council, and the efforts of people of all ethnic groups in XJ. Its economic construction and other undertakings all got remarkable achievements.

Nuer Baikeli remarked that, XJ boasts of resource and geographical advantages. We will continuously implement advantageous resource transformation strategy, actively attract big enterprises and groups to explore the advantageous resources, thus promoting the economic restructuring and development mode transforming and realizing sound and rapid development of XJ's economy.

Nuer Baikeli also answered questions of the journalists on tourism development, people's livelihood improvement, development of animal husbandry and other issues.
