On May 8, 2012, Mr. Wu Sike, China's Special Envoy to the Middle East who was paying a visit to Israel, met with Mr. Danny Ayalon, Israeli Deputy Foreign Minister. Both sides mainly discussed in depth how to push forward the Middle East peace process, and exchanged views on other regional issues. Mrs. Gao Yanping, Chinese Ambassador to Israel, Mr. Dai Yuming, Political Counselor of the Embassy, and Mr. Hagai Shagrir, Director of the Northeast Asia Department of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel among others were present.
