At the invitation of Prime Minister Sigurðardóttir of the Republic of Iceland , Prime Minister Reinfeldt of the Kingdom of Sweden, Prime Minister Tusk of the Republic of Poland and Chancellor Merkel of the Federal Republic of Germany, Premier Wen Jiabao of the State Council will pay official visits to Iceland, Sweden and Poland, and attend the opening ceremony of Hannover Messe in Germany as well as partner country China activities from April 20 to 27.
During his visits, Premier Wen Jiabao will have meetings and talks with leaders of Iceland, Sweden, Poland and Germany, exchanging with them in-depth views on bilateral relations and international and regional issues of common interest. Premier Wen will also reach out to people from economic and business communities extensively and deliver speeches to expound on China's policy of reform and opening-up and proposals on bilateral and China-EU business cooperation. Premier Wen's visits will further elevate China's relations with Iceland, Sweden, Poland and Germany, and push forward China-EU comprehensive strategic partnership.
