On March 20, 2012, prior to President Hu Jintao's visit to Cambodia, State Councilor Dai Bingguo visited former King of Cambodia Norodom Sihanouk and his wife in Beijing on behalf of Hu, conveyed to them the cordial greetings and best wishes of Hu and his wife and conducted cordial talks with them. Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi accompanied Dai during the visit.
