On February 21, 2012, Vice Foreign Minister Zhai Jun held a briefing at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to brief the diplomatic envoys of Arab states on his recent visit to Syria as the special envoy of the Chinese government.

There were diplomatic envoys from 21 Arab states and representatives from the representative office of the League of Arab States in China attending the briefing.
