State Councilor Dai Bingguo Meets with Vietnamese Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh

On February 13, 2012, Chinese State Councilor Dai Bingguo met with visiting Vietnamese Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh in Diaoyutai State Guesthouse.

Dai said that since last year the leaders of the two parties and countries have held in-depth communication and reached important consensus on deepening China-Vietnam comprehensive strategic cooperation, pointing out the direction for the development of bilateral ties. The relevant departments of the two sides should enhance coordination and implement the consensus in order to maintain the momentum of a stable development of bilateral ties, he said.

Minh said the Vietnamese side attached great importance to its friendly relations with China, and will work with the Chinese side to implement the consensus reached by the leaders of both countries, deepen pragmatic cooperation in all fields and push forward comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership.
