On September 28, 2011, Vice Foreign Minister Zhai Jun met in the Foreign Ministry with the delegation of Egyptian Council for Foreign Affairs (ECFA) headed by ECFA Chairman Shaker. The two sides exchanged opinions on China-Egypt relations and the situation in West Asia and North Africa.

The delegation is invited to China by China Institutes of Contemporary International Relations.
