Wu Bangguo Returns Home after Four-nation Eurasian Tour

On September 27, 2011, Wu Bangguo, chairman of the Standing Committee of China's National People's Congress, returned to Beijing after concluding his official goodwill visits to Russia, Belarus, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. Wu also attended the fifth meeting of the China-Russia Parliamentary Cooperation Committee in Moscow. Li Jianguo, Vice-Chairman and Secretary-General of NPC Standing Committee, and other major accompanying officials arrived by the same plane.

Chairman Wu flew back to Beijing from Astana, capital of Kazakhstan after concluding his official goodwill visit to Kazakhstan. Upon leaving Astana, Wu was seen off at the airport by Speaker Kairat Mami of the Senate of the Kazakh Parliament, as well as the Chinese ambassador to Kazakhstan and the staff of the Chinese Embassy.
