On September 27, 2011, Vice Foreign Minister Zhang Zhijun met with the delegation of the British Conservative Party Parliamentary China Group led by Nigel Evans, Deputy Speaker of the House of Commons. The two sides exchanged opinions on China-Britain relations and introduced the domestic situation to each other.

The delegation is invited to China by the International Department of the Central Committee of the CPC.
