On September 6, 2010, Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi met in Beijing with Thomas Donilon, Deputy Assistant to the U.S. President for National Security Affairs, and Lawrence Summers, Director of the White House National Economic Council. Both sides exchanged in-depth views on the development of China-U.S. relations in the new stage, as well as major international and regional issues of common concern.
