Vice Foreign Minister Cui Tiankai Holds Talks with Heads of US Multinationals in China

On February 12, 2010, Vice Foreign Minister Cui Tiankai held talks with the chief executives of large US companies with business presence in China. Heads of the American Chamber of Commerce in the People's Republic of China (AmCham-China) and companies like Coca-Cola and Motorola attended the meeting. Cui pointed out that the position of the Chinese side on issues concerning its national sovereignty and territorial integrity is firm and unshakable. The US side should recognize that the China-US relationship is mutually beneficial. He expressed hope that the US should make joint efforts with China to respect each other's core interests and major concerns, overcome current difficulties and ensure the healthy and stable development of bilateral ties.
