On November 27, 2009, Director-General of the Department of African Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China Zhang Ming held political consultations with Director General of the Department of Asian and African Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Senegal in Dakar. Both sides exchanged in-depth views on China-Senegal, China-Africa relations, the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC), as well as climate change and other issues of common concern.
