1991-1992 Attaché , Permanent Mission of the People's Republic of China to the United Nations Office at Geneva and other International Organizations in Switzerland.

1992-1996 Attaché , Third Secretary and Deputy Division Director, Department of International Organizations and Conferences, MFA

1996-1997 Second Secretary, Permanent Mission of the People's Republic of China to the United Nations and other International Organizations in Vienna.

1997-2004 Second Secretary, Division Director, Counselor and Deputy Director –General, Department of Arms Control, MFA

2004-2005 Deputy Director General, Foreign Affairs (Overseas Chinese Affairs) Office of the People's Government of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region
