On August 24, 35 students and faculty of a joint program on Global Change and International Governance organized by the University of Geneva (UNIGE) and the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) visited the Chinese Mission.

H.E. Ambassador He Yafei extended a warm welcome to the group and shared his insights on global governance. He stressed the importance of multilateral co-operation in addressing compelling global challenges and elaborated on China's commitment to multilateralism and its role in international development cooperation. He then answered questions involving China-US relations, climate change, China's environmental protection policy, UN's role in global governance.

Young diplomats from the Mission and the visiting students had friendly, lively and in-depth discussion on China's foreign policy and other issues of common interests.
