On June 21, the Chinese Mission played host to a student delegation from New York University. A group of students from Geneva University were also invited.

H.E. Ambassador He Yafei met the students and had a friendly interaction with the young guests. He highlighted the importance of multilateral diplomacy in today's world and elaborated on China's foreign policy. He also answered questions involving the situation of Korean Peninsula, climate change, Sino-India relations and China's investment in Africa, etc.

Young diplomats from the Mission made presentations and shared their experiences and insights in their respective areas of work, including human rights, disarmament, UN specialized agencies. They had a free and lively discussion with the students on a number of issues, such as UPR of the Human Rights Council, the responsibility to protect, and the reform of the security council, etc.
