On March 11, Ambassador HE Yafei received an interview by Mr. Frederic Koller, the international column chief of Swiss newspaper Le Temps. Ambassador HE made an introduction on the annual sessions of the National People's Congress (NPC) and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), and answered questions concerning Geneva's role in multilateral diplomacy, human rights, climate change, China's political system and China's influence in Africa, etc.
Le Temps is an influential French-speaking Swiss daily published in Geneva and read all over Switzerland. The majority of Le Temps's readers are high-educated people, mostly in the political, economic, diplomatic and academic circles.
