On 27 May 2009, Ms. LU Hailin, spouse of Ambassador LI Baodong, hosted an Asian Women Circle luncheon at the Chinese Mission. Around 40 Ambassadresses from the Permanent Missions of Asian countries to the UN office at Geneva or to the WTO were present.

Before the Luncheon, Ms LU extended a warm welcome to the participants. The staff of the Chinese Mission entertained the lady guests with popular folk songs, a Tibetan dance, and a costumes show of Chinese ethnic minorities. The event was immersed in a festival and enjoyable atmosphere.
