Peaceful Uses of Nuclear Energy
2009/11/08

China supports member states to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons in undertaking international cooperation on peaceful uses of nuclear energy under the precondition of their strictly fulfilling all the obligations under the Treaty. China maintains that we should balance the relationship between non-proliferation and peaceful uses of nuclear energy, without hindering the rights of the member states to the Treaty to peaceful uses of nuclear energy under the pretext of non-proliferation, and preventing any member states from engaging in proliferation activities in the name of peaceful uses of nuclear energy.
